Head in the SAND, or World Events

When it comes to world events that are leading to possible war, to you prefer to..

Have your head in the sand, and pretend all is fine,

Or

Do you have a desire to know what is going on....

I keep up,maybe not as much as i probably should, but more than your average bear. Sometimes i think blissful ignorance sounds appealing because thinking about what a screwed up country/govt./world we currently live in a person could go crazy.

JOHN
I can't do anything to prevent war or solve the world's problems. Worrying about it won't help. In fact, like carbon credits, I'd like to pay DonDiego to worry for me.

Until then, I'm stocking up on canned soup and bottled water.
There have always been world events that are leading to possible war. Always have been. Always will be. If 'Head in the SAND' means not worrying about it...then put me in the HITS category. I don't even worry about the stuff I can control.

...and the HITS just keep on coming. Add me to the list.
I think the biggest problem we have in this country is too many people with their head in the sand.

If people would turn off American Idol long enough to view, judge, and participate in our Democracy we would have much more intelligent dialogue than the campaign ads you see during the commercial breaks of American Idol.
I know...let's all do what we can to stop the next war! Here's my contribution.

If everyone did that, who would view, judge, and participate in telephone voting for the next Idol?

Next, you'll be saying we should only watch real news or educational TV shows like Biggest Loser or Jersey Shore.

sheesh.

I like to know what is going on but I am going to live my life and be happy. You can't worry about every little thing happening in the world.
