Heading to LV tomorrow!

All packed and ready to fly out tomorrow morning to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday in Las Vegas! Seems like forever since I was last there - but it was really just in January. I'm taking it as a very good omen that the mail this morning contained my refund cheque from your US govt for the 30% they withheld from all my W2G winnings last year, so I'll even have some extra cash to play with! I know that several other LVAers are planning to visit Vegas over the next couple weeks too, so "Good luck" to all! Hopefully May will be a winning month for the LVA crowd!

Yep, the timing of the cheque was awesome! I hate that 30% withholding from the handpays for Canadians, but I treat it like a savings account. It's kind of like "found money" thing when it finally gets returned! We'll be staying at the Palazzo on a 3 night comp so I am a very happy camper! Good luck for your visit too kev - hopefully Vegas " feels the love" for all of us this month!
