He was passed over for promotion, from reports. It's the military's way of telling you your services are no longer needed. You don't piss off the brass without consequences.

"His 52 decorations include two Silver Stars, four Bronze Star Medals with Valor device, a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor device, three Presidential Unit citations, and two Navy and Marine Corps Commendations with Valor device."

I think maybe he earned a pass from yahoos speculating about his SEAL career...yahoos who don't really have a clue about the details. Of course some people will say anything if it advances their political causes. It's just like those who are attacking the Kahn family at a personal level.
Of course pointing out that his commanding officer and master sergeant accused him of selfishly disregarding their core values by seeking financial gain and notoriety is completely on point, and is NOTHING like taking personal potshots at a Gold Star mother.

I didn't know the US Navy had the rank of "master sergeant".

With SPEC OPS deployments on the increase after 16 years of being deployed more than being home with the family & training. I can understand the reason to leave the military.
My buddy's son resigned his commission for this reason.

Being passed over for promotion once is handwriting on the wall, being passed over twice is a "good by & have a nice life".

Billy makes a mysterious "w/o going into my own military experience"line and it turns out pundit is exactly correct, there is no such thing as master sgt. in the Navy. I looked it up. Pretty funny.
Actually I was the one who made that error. Apologies. Proving once again that even the best of us make mistakes, and the very best of us admit it and apologize.

Turns out it was Rear Admiral Brian Losey, who commands the Naval Special Warfare Group, and Force Master Chief Michael Magaraci, the top noncommissioned officer of the group who said "We do not abide willful or selfish disregard for our core values in return for public notoriety or financial gain."

Yeah, the new expert on Fox News is a disgrace, but at least he isn't a convicted felon like the last one.
If "candidate A" beats "candidate b" you can virtually guarantee that the usa is going to turn into a muslim country...open the borders and let in as many muslims as possible with no 'vetting process', just let them all in, that guarantees "4 more years" with all these of millions of extra votes getting off the boat and i'm not even talking about mexico.

the damage that could be done will be irreversable, its a mistake we can't afford to make and the funniest thing its a mistake we're going to make because our itty bitty feelings got hurt because the 'rude candidate' said some offensive things. doesn't matter that he's otherwise honest and has a well rounded family, if you're rude we will go to any lengths to not let you win, even if it means ruining the country and opening the borders.

we don't have much time to wake up, we have less than 100 days to say good bye to america, open borders folks, open borders and say goodbye to your firearms too.
