Heartless Pechanga

Sorry to hear about her illness

Next time have her throw up on the clipboard guy.
Armondo

My understanding of the original post was that they were PREVENTED from leaving on an earlier bus even though the poor woman was sick. Prevented by the clipboard person. That's the heartlessness. They weren't looking for any rewards...just a trip home without having to wait for more hours while feeling sick. I'm sure they would have returned your damn $10 if it got them on the earlier bus home.
Welcome to the boards and good to have you join us Mr. Mena to present Pechanga's side of the matter. I have a hypothetical question which relates the question posted by a previous poster in this thread where what if the OP offered to return the $10 back to Pechanga due to the insufficient amount of play, would he then have been able to catch an earlier bus back home given seats available?

Edited to add: By the way I just wanted to add that The Buffet at Pechanga is top notch. Here's a free plug.

Are you sure those "numerous individuals" didn't leave in a car just to get away from the type of abhorent treatment this couple received? And, by the way, "numerous individuals" have used baseball bats to commit crimes, but you're still allowed to watch baseball.

Sorry for the late reply on this. The manager of our busing program tried to post yesterday, as soon as we were made aware of this, but had problems creating a user account. Here is what he had to say:

"I am sorry to hear of your bad experience foildcoup.
First off, I need to point out that Pechanga maintains a full 24-hour EMT staff and an emergency medical center is just minutes away. I do not believe that there has ever been an instance of a guest not receiving requested medical attention at Pechanga.

As the manager of the busing program for Pechanga, I recommend anyone with any type of medical condition that might limit their stay here to avoid traveling on a group bus, unless that bus is specifically designed to accommodate your needs. We do get many visits from buses servicing group homes that can accommodate the medical needs of such guests. However, the majority of buses arriving here are scheduled to stay a certain amount of time and have to stick to that schedule so that no customers are left behind.

All these buses that bring passengers to our resort are independently operated. The rewards we give to passengers are naturally based on the time period they stay. Buses are welcome to schedule their departure whenever they like; however, if they are only going to stay for an hour, we are not likely to give the passengers on that bus any rewards. In regards to any player who does receive such rewards, but does not leave on their designated bus, this is handled on a case-by-case basis. As you can imagine, numerous individuals have tried to use their free play and then leave the property in a friend’s car to exploit the reward system.

Once again, accept my apologies for your bad experience and please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,"

Your reply to these people is rather patronizing and condescending. First of all, who is purposely going to scam to ride a bus to your casino, get TEN Dollars credit, and then try to go home early? WE ARE TALKING TEN DOLLARS. To add a 90 day penalty just adds insult to the matter. Is an incident like this worth the publicity?

To tell someone that they should consider not riding a group bus because of a medical condition possibly flaring up is also outrageous. If your senior citizen attendees were to heed your advice, I'm sure 20% or more would stop coming.

I believe Armando supplied his email in order to find out more information regarding foiledcoup’s visit. Obviously, as Armando’s response stated, guests come and go as they please and their travel on the bus is between them and the tour operator. That said, one of Armando’s job duties is to regularly evaluate the tour operators and look into any customer complaints.

As I’m sure everyone on this particular forum understands, all casino rewards are granted based on certain criteria: a visit, amount of play, overnight stay, or, as it sounds like in this case, the length of time the tour bus was to remain at the property. It sounds to me, from foiledcoup’s original post, as if their free play was not revoked.

However, I am certain Armando would like to hear directly from foiledcoup on this matter to find out all the details. Thanks.
Robert
In other words business remains business and rules remain rules, no matter what the circumstances. I'm sure your competitors thank you for this type of attitude.
I'm curious if they ever settled up with you concerning the matter from this thread....link to old thread
Wow. You would think he would have learned his lesson when they cheated him. Heartless cheaters.
Ironic where one the bus was leaving too soon and vise versa.
