It's getting dark, too dark for me to see.

I never saw the movie, but I remember how it was panned as one of the worst films of all time. With such negative publicity, if I was one of the suits at the studios, I would have suggested doing something radical. I would have proposed that we take all of the negative publicity and use it in print ads, with pull quotes like "the worst film of all time". By doing that you may get a small cult or people who have curiosity to go and see it.

Word has it Andrew Breitbart is making a new directors cut which has alot more profanity and nudity. I'll go see that one.

The directors cut of Heaven's Gate is actually considered a good movie. Apparently the studio butchered it, the restored version got good reviews.



Now this Heaven's gate got terrible reviews:

I think I could find Scientology easier to believe than Christianity.

Call me weird or whatever But I am a fan of this Movie, did not see it in the theatres but the directors cut.

The story is your typical cult about to die flick. The ought to combine it with the Jim Jones story and that idiot from Japan.

Don't ask me; I enjoyed Waterworld and Ishtar.

I didn't see either one, but I remember the previews for Ishtar. The previews made it look so bad, that there was no way I was going to go and see it.
