Hello Vegas people

The Strip is fun, but I would reserve one night for Downtown to catch the light show, cheap gambling and people watching.

You might want to contact various hotels/casinos and explain you have 30 people coming to Vegas.
Ask if they will cut you a deal ?
MOST hotels will be glad to bend over backwards to have your business.
If you don't ask....you don't get !
Don't settle for 10% off (or something trivial). I'd be asking for MINIMUM 50% off all rooms at their "best" advertised rates, free buffets, etc., etc.
You can stay anywhere... they NEED your business !!!!!
Good Luck
I know you said you have already been to Cosmo but I would recommend to go there again. It really is the hot spot on the Las Vegas Strip. Great food and entertainment with a central location on the Strip with easy access to almost anywhere else you may want to travel to.

Post some pics and we'll let you know what the best places are.

Cosmo and the whole complex was not yet open on my last visit. It was very close so I have a good idea what to expect.
One of my girlfriends has a brother who goes to Vegas often and he has offered to go at the same time and get us either free or discounted rooms. He said he could get them at Aria and other MGM hotels.
What do you guys think?

Thanks so much for all the suggestions.

*post pics of my group or just the girls?
lol

Welcome treegirl. Glad you decided to plant yourself here!

I haven't been to Vegas for a few years, but even I know this isn't where we want to go.
Were you serious?

Actually he was. Freemont street east has become very popular. It clubs, ultra lounges atreet parties. In fact, based on the upper age range you have some folks that grow up during the video arcade era. With that in mind there is a lounge downtown called insert coins which has over 3 dozen restored arcade games to play and they offer gameroom rentals where folks can play classic games on oeiginal nintendo consoles and other long forgotten systems (do you remember the sega dreamcast?)

All this on top the things to do downtown under the canapy (free concerts, Zip line, lightshow)

Heck I'm unemployed right now...need a tourguide?
Since we're bumping up Vegas threads, I'm wondering how that March trip with all of the other Tree People worked out for you.
