help needed-melting pot restaurant Atlantic city

I am heading to Atlantic City on Monday for the Pool and Spa show and want to know if anyone has been to the Melting Pot Restaurant. If so can you tell me if it was any good or worth the price. Just dont know if another restaurant would be a better choice. What is pick of restaurants when in AC.
I assume you're staying at the Sheraton? Melting Pot is pretty good. Fun with a fun group of people. Not so much fun with people that don't want to share or are picky eaters. Avoid the Tun Tavern. It's just bar food. Nothing special. I like Dock's Oyster House. Very good. The owner's of Dock's opened up a more casual restaurant called Harry's inside Bally's. That is very good, too and maybe a little safer than walking to Dock's from the Sheraton. In other words, the walk from Convention Center to Bally's is safer than the walk from Convention Center to Dock's Oyster House. If you're driving, Dock's has a parking lot and it's and easy in and out as opposed to a hotel's giant parking garage.
It's a chain. The one here is pretty popular, but it's a chain. Is there nothing more original in AC?

I have to agree with you. I do not go to eat anywhere that is available where I live.
But, that doesn't mean the OP has a Melting Pot in his area.
