Henry Hill passed away.

Henry Hill died yesterday at age 69.

Who is Henry Hill you might ask ? Ray Liotta played the role of Henry Hill in the movie Goodfellas.
Henry Hill turned and testified against the mob. He went into the protection program, but I believe he got busted for dealing cocaine and was asked to leave the program. The mob never got him for "ratting" on them.

Yes. One of the very few who ratted on the mob, entered the WP program, was booted out of the WP program, and lived to tell about it !

Altho I imagine, he was constantly looking over his shoulder.

According to Shepard Smith at FOX, he quit the program. He was selling pasta sauce on line.

This guy couldn't have been worried that much as he continually appeared on the Howard Stern radio show. They could have waited for him after one show and blew his brains out if they really wanted him dead. Ray Liotta talked him into going into a rehab program in 2006. He sure led some kind of life!! He probably really got some good coke for his personal use!
Jimmy Two-Times, Sally Balls, and Frankie-the-Wop send their condolences.
He moved to North Platte NE about 10 years ago and cooked at a Italian restaurant. His name was all over the papers about his past. I assume the mobsters who he ratted out are long gone and their kids have found a less "criminal business". NP is a town of 25000 so he would not have been too hard to find.

Sounds like he has never been able to "kick" his addictions.

RD, in that part of the state, virtually EVERYONE has a shotgun in the rear window of their trucks. Why would anyone ever want to shoot someone there as once the first shot goes off.....

Disclaimer: I lived in Nebraska for a number of years in town of 6,000. Yes, I did drive a pickup AND I had a gun rack.
Need to go rent that movie this weekend then.

RIP
In a related story, I was watching "Leave it to Beaver" this morning on TV Land, and heard Beaver deliver the line "Funny, how?" A totally different context of course, but still jarring.
