Here's how you handle the QoD (or any other feature) cost factor.

If you what to start cutting down the cost of the QoD (or any other LVA feature), I have an idea for you (you use this you owe me). You do like Priceline when the computer is "searching for the best deal for you" and puts up the picture of Shatner with the Priceline ad. Just get some casino, bar, rent-a-car company, etc, etc, etc to sponsor the feature by running a 15 second ad before it goes to the site the person wanted.

Say the ad says, "Joe's Bar and Grill. Buy one burger, get one free Click Here It opens a new window for Joe's Bar where they can download and print the coupon. If it's a really good deal, more Vegas locals will click the ad so the count will go up which will make larger businesses want to buy space on your site.

Remember, there are thousands and thousands of local businesses in Vegas that you could get to advertise on your website that would love to try to get some of the tourist money that comes into town every day.

Well???? 220 people looked at this but no comments. Good idea???? Bad idea???? If this kept the cost down for the membership would you go for it.

I am now in this business (my second career) -- Internet marketing and advertising. It works "if" and it doesn't work "when." (If you get my drift.) It's not as simple as you think.
