True story - nothing to do with Treegirl - has to do with user names.

One of my friends took a year or so off Vegas forums then came back using a different user name. During her hiatus, I started posting at another forum. At that forum, there's a member whose personality resembled my friend. For a while, I wondered if that member was my friend. It wasn't. It was another person, similar lifestyle, personality, lives in the same part of the country, likes Vegas and has an adorable grandkid.

Treegirl is who she says she is. It's that personality that you love or hate.

Oh yea, chipchik, I remember her.."suites and limos allthe way for me". Kinda belittled everyone who disagreed with her, pissing match ensued, she left in a bit of a huff. I don't know, might be, might not be. Maybe forkie can continue some more internet forensic metadata research on that one too.

I just hope treegirl also lied about her sister having what sounded like a dreadful brain disease. We gave treegirl a lot of sincere sympathy over that, both here in this forum and (I suspect) via PM.

I can't figure out why someone would lie about themselves in a forum where they get to remain anonymous. Seems to me that anonymity would help people be more honest about things they might otherwise keep hidden.

Whatever the motivation, I hope that tale about her sister was just another twisted fantasy.

Yes you can but you choose not to. There's a whole lot a difference there. I simply choose to believe treegirl because her explanation sounds reasonable.
