Kathleen Sebelius, the Sec. of Health and Human Ser., announced the currant figures on how the ACA sign-up is doing so far.................by phone!! We knew she had no balls, but really???? Come on out and face the music deary. Its not going to get any better.

A rousing success it is not. One fifth of projected 500,000 sign-ups. OOPS!

We site more than likely will NOT be fixed by end of Nov. OOPS!

People are starting to see just how many of them are going to lose existing insurance that they wanted to keep. OOPS!

People are starting to see just how expensive it is going to be to buy new insurance. Low rates? Sure! Just be ready for the huge co-pays if you become really ill or injured. OOPS!

BOHICA!
nemesis, be careful or you will suffer the wraith of the pro Obama liberals on this site for your truthful comments. OOPS!
I have my benefits meeting at my work in a few hours.

I will report back the changes as I know you are eagerly waiting news of changes in my healthcare.

Actually, I am curious Snidely. Didn't you mention you worked for a CRO also? My wife got there's recently and they offered to extend for a year with only 8% increase for the same policy. Very cool.

By phone!! But was she reading off of a teleprompter!!? And was she wearing an American Flag lapel pin!!?

And whatever happened to "death panels?"

Thanks Obama
I don't have exact comparisons to last years plan but we are changing from Aetna to Cigna, our premiums are going down 12%, our copays for specialist are going from $40 to $50, copays for tier 2 Rx are going from $40 to $35.

Seems like if we stay healthy, we pay less with the new plan but if we get sick, we pay more with the new plan.

I really liked Aetna.

That's not bad snidely, what's the deductible?(if you don't mind).

J
I'll know tomorrow. If we stay in network, there is no deductible for most things. We just pay our copay. I think it's $250 copay for a colonoscopy. That seems kind of high. If my current insurance is a lot less, I might try to squeeze one in before the end of the year.
Squeeze in a colonoscopy?
It would be easier if you "relax" it in, I think.
