High Roller Ride

Anyone taken this ride, if so is it worth it? I see the special for the daytime happy hour ride but 30 minutes seems a rather short ride for the price. Are the views worth the price of admission? Do the surrounding hotels block out much of the view.
There are all sorts of discounts for the ride, so ignore the posted price.
Is it worth it? After a couple of minutes you get a great view of the mountains. After maybe five-six minutes, you are high enough to see much of the strip. The sweet spot is about ten minutes long and the view is amazing.
I think everyone should do it once. I believe the LVA website has a coupon that brings it down to less than $20 a person including the open beer bar.
Its an overpriced tourist trap but then again, so is everything else on the strip. Definitely go at night if you are going to do it (which increases the price to an even bigger ripoff). Its a nice view. The top of the ride gets you a view over the hotels in front of it so you can see quite a bit.

I wont tell you its worth $25. I also wont tell you 10 minutes on the Duck Dynasty slots is worth $25. I'll just tell you its Vegas; we spend our money on all kinds of things that are a ripoff yet we somehow back to our rooms with a smile anyway
With any luck, folks in the pod in front of yours will be putting on a strip show.

I got my first Vegas flash this last trip in January. I was pulling out of Caesars waiting for a break in the sidewalk crowd so I could pull out onto Las Vegas Blvd. This woman was walking with her boyfriend, turned to my car and lifted her top. Only in Vegas (and maybe at Mardi Gras). I think O2b makes a great point. If you can let people go by you, maybe you want to wait for a bride and her bridal party to go by you and then get on the next pod.

I'm waiting to hear a news story about Lurker fucking Billy in the High Roller.
Correction..................I meant Billy fucking Lurker. I'm not sure.

Stay classy!
That is him trying to be classy. So sad.
High Roller: 2 Tickets with OPEN BAR
High Roller: 2 Tickets with OPEN BARTwo tickets for "Happy Half Hour" daytime rides (must be 21 and older; includes open bar) are $39 (reg. $74)

At under $20 a person and including FREE BEER , I don't think its a ripoff. Just be aware there are no bathrooms on the pods.
