The city of Spokane is investigating whether she lied about her ethnicity when she applied to be on the police board. And police on Friday said they were suspending investigations into racial harassment complaints filed by Dolezal, including one from earlier this year in which she said she received hate mail at her office.."

“That question is not as easy as it seems,” she said. “There’s a lot of complexities … and I don’t know that everyone would understand that.”

We're all from the African continent. {I]HUH!? What the hell does that mean, other than she's indirectly answering the question about her true race.

Ya know, it's not the fact that she's white and heavily involved with the NAACP(I don't think they have any race requirements, do they?) and civil rights agenda, that's all dandy, BUT she lied about who she is. WTH?

I saw this right after I posted that other article. This is the proverbial nail in the coffin about her true race, video interviews with both her brothers and another with her real parents. Again, why lie about such a thing?

"An adopted brother of the NAACP chapter president in Spokane, Washington, who has been questioned about her race claimed she asked him "to not let anyone find out where she was actually from."

Ezra Dolezal said his sister Rachel had "the best intentions" while she publicly identified herself as African American for years. Questions surrounding her race began surfacing when she applied for a spot on Spokane's Police Ombudsman Commission -- of which she is now chairwoman -- and identified herself as white, black and American Indian, ABC affiliate KXLY-TV in Spokane reported.

"She took me aside and told me to not let anyone find out where she was actually from," said Ezra Dolezal. "And for me not to blow her cover."
Ezra added that his sister "grew up white and she was really privileged growing up.”
"Her parents, Ruthanne and Lawrence Dolezal, previously told ABC News that Rachel is their biological daughter and they are both white. Their daughter refused to comment on their race in an earlier interview with KXLY-TV.

A photo of Dolezal at a Martin Luther King, Jr. rally in January shows her sporting long dreadlocks extensions. It appears different from the blonde girl born in Montana and seen in pictures released by her parents.

Her brother Zachariah said Rachel's physical transformation started a few years ago.

"It started out with the hair,” he said. “Then she'd have probably a little darker tan and it was very progressive."

If everyone from all races just joined the NAACP, it's one more thing we would all have in common. Maybe we could then merge with the Masons.

Maybe she should join the NAAWP

DonDiego supposes she is referring to the anthropological observation that all modern humans (Homo sapiens) have a single origin in Africa.

DonDiego has no objection to such personal misrepresentation, except for the possibility of fraud with respect to misrepresenting one's race to obtain preferential Government treatment, . . . and to a lesser degree to obtain preferential treatment from other sources. (He disagrees with such Government policies generally; that they are subject to fraud is just another argument against them.)

Otherwise, what someone chooses to call oneself is not DonDiego's business. Whether the NAACP cares is, likewise, not DonDiego's business. DonDiego just doesn't care what race(s) may be represented within folks' skins generally.

This woman has made a total ass out of all involved in her goofy plan. No matter what color she claims to be....Any legal papers that this woman has filled out and signed has touch on the fraud. It just another example of just how stupid things in todays world can really get. I'm waiting and really cannot believe that Al Sharpton has not busted into this and given his opinion. I'm sure it coming....It almost as goofy as the Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner ordeal.

Any white person who would want to be a black person in America, is a total idiot.

Let's not concern ourselves with the truth, folks.

Sometimes I wish I was Barack Obama....Or Oprah.....Ok maybe not Oprah.
