From the article: But Martin Boess, director of Swiss crime prevention, warned against the false sense of security that guns bring. “When there are more guns in circulation, there is a greater danger for society,” he said in an interview on the 10 vor 10 news programme. “That’s shown by experience in places like the United States. When there are more guns, there are more accidents with guns.”
You see DD? Crime rates will go up with more guns in circulation, even without "the intruders". Mr. Boess is very cautious, calling gun violence "accidents".

Ah a new year has begun so Boiler treats us to a new episode of "beating a dead horse". Yawn......You haven't finished discussing how Sweden is one of the 100 countries that's a mess because of Muslims. Come on Boiler, keep your eye on the ball!
From: Gun Sales Up in 12 Swiss Cantons:
"Applications for gun permits in Switzerland increased by 20% between 2014 and 2015, according to a survey conducted in 12 cantons by Swiss public television, SRF.
The survey, published on Wednesday, showed that in the 12 (out of 26) cantons surveyed, the Swiss are increasingly interested in purchasing pistols, rifles and other firearms for private use."

Fatal accidents happen everyday, accidental gun deaths don't even rank. From the CDC web site, accidents for 2014;
All unintentional injury deaths
•Number of deaths: 130,557
•Deaths per 100,000 population: 41.3
•Cause of death rank: 4
Unintentional fall deaths
•Number of deaths: 30,208
•Deaths per 100,000 population: 9.6
Motor vehicle traffic deaths
•Number of deaths: 33,804
•Deaths per 100,000 population: 10.7
Unintentional poisoning deaths
•Number of deaths: 38,851
•Deaths per 100,000 population: 12.3
As afar as more deaths from crime, far and away those are concentrated in cities, more notably in the "bad" sections of town. This map suggests that, I'm sure there are maps of particular cities and where the most gun deaths occur and I almost guarantee it's in the gang/drug controlled neighborhoods.

If people think the neighborhood is becoming dangerous and start to arm themselves, especially a country like Sweden, I doubt the intention is criminal.
