What you originally posted appears to be a diatribe that has been circulating in one form or another since at least 2008, starting with This post at Snopes message board, but which may go back even farther.
More recently, what appears to be the exact same text as you posted was published at NCRenegade.com on April 25th of this year.
That doesn't quite seem to fit your description of "headlines I remember hearing and glancing at". PJ's complaint was:

It does not appear you were the original author of that text, yet you did not attribute it, hence it would appear Pj's complaint is valid.
As for the message itself, there is nothing in the way of supporting evidence to confirm it. Much of it would seem to be difficult or impossible to verify, while other portions seem to be half-truths.
Personally, I think that anyone, be they democrat, republican or independent, who makes voting decisions based on undocumented tripe like this is a fool.
