How fun to see hotels I've either stayed in or have visited on the way from California.

I will be curous to see how many hotels on this room will now have flat screen televisions instead of regular televisions in an armoire? By eliminating the armoire, rooms look a lot larger.

As always am looking forward to your trip reports and have to questions/requests.

1. During your time in Reno Are you going to hit Lake Tahoe and if so will you hit both the north shore and south Lake Tahoe.

2. While downtown in Las Vegas can you give a brief report on Freemont street east? Have heard a lot of things about it and your interests seem to be close to mine so I would love to hear your opionion on it.

Jon - so glad you are on your adventure for 2011!!! I think you picked a great venue of things to do.

We stayed at the Hotel in Ely and can't wait till I hear what you think!!! It is sooo old, quaint and really a fun place to visit!!! The casino is small and the tables are downstairs. The little coffee shop is very good and there isn't much other choice in the town.

Looking forward to all your daily reports . . . you should think about writing a book on all your adventures or be a GOOD advisor for American Casino Guide - you'd be an asset to the book!!
