Tell that to the Veterans with PTSD or cancer patients going through Chemo or people with chronic pain that would prefer not get addicted to prescription opiates or kids with seizure disorders or people with MS or people with Glaucoma. Medical Marijuana is between a person and his doctor....not the Federal Government and the Criminal Justice system....but you big government types just want control over what people can eat, drink or smoke.

Has anyone noticed that 99% of the vocal medical marijuana supporters are stoners? This suggest to me that what's of most interest to them is not alleviating the pain of a medical issue, but instead they just want to get stoned.

Opiates stop you up. It is not a pleasant experience.

Yea, can be a horrible thing if left too long.

Thanks. Now I understand. He would be the ultimate victim of misinformation considering Rush is not a type to manipulate information.

I used to listen to Rush frequently, but now I listen to him maybe twice a year. If you ever listened to him for any consistent period of time, then you would know that Liberals took Rush's comments out of context............ bastardizing the gist of his message.

That sort of lying dirty politics (lying) is typical of Liberals

Oh Mushy, I just chose Limbaugh since I listened to him for many years. Limbaugh would never have seriously told his audience, or others, that he was going to move away from America. If you believe that I'm wrong, please provide the entirety of Limbaugh's discussion.

You and I both know why Liberals use dirty politics and take such comments out of context. It's an attempt to misrepresent the truth, which is a cute way of lying.

Right! Out of the 20 or 30 people on the left and right fringes that have threatened to leave the country, THIS is the one that merits textual context.

Will Forkie please provide the textual context of this quote, or just a portion of it in an attempt to mislead the low information Hillary voter. I apologize for the redundancy of this comment.

It's quite clear if you listen to this sound clip of Rush Limbaugh, in his own words, that he is talking about going to Costa Rica for medical procedures...............not selling his Florida home and moving to Costa Rica. As I suspected, Liberals are twisting the truth...............better known as lying.

Here's more proof that Limbaugh never intended to leave the country.

Anyone who's listened to Rush for an extended period of time understand that Liberals regularly take things that he says out of context in an attempt to confuse people about his intended meaning. This is exactly the dirty politics that I often refer to.
Boiler, if you would learn the simple process of learning how to hot link like 99 percent of the posters on LVA, it might help you with evangelical pursuits. It's easy peasy.

Cat got your tongue boys?
Rush Limbaugh actual audio, talking about Cost Rica, March 8, 2010

Rush Limbaugh Costa Rica follow up, March 9, 2010
To address the original thread title...the benefits of a Trump election do indeed mount. Most notably it forces Republicans in Congress to face the fact that popularly elected nominees from both parties support policy that are fundamentally contrary to the ones the GOP establishment has been standing for like :

- Taxing billionaires more to pay for necessary services
- Allowing medicare to negotiate drug prices
- Allowing US citizens to buy drugs from Canada
- Guaranteeing everyone has access to non-emergency healthcare
- Cracking down on free trade agreements
- Killing Citizen's United
- Keeping both Social Security and Medicare in their big-government Socialized form and funding them

Its tough medicine for the GOP establishment to see their base conceding to many Democratic positions on fundamental issues. I think its a good thing ... even though I think I stand a better chance of being elected president than the Donald.

pj might want to read Trumps medical proposal which includes little of the above & calls for obamacare to be repealed.

The tax increase affects very few & contrary to liberal belief if we taxed billionaires at a 100% rate we would still run a huge deficit.

There is no way this country can fund the $50T ss/medicare deficit.

Trump is within the margin of error in the RCP polls & by the way clinton's computer guy just got immunity
Reading is FUNdamental.

The frontrunner of your party disagrees with you Hoops....and he's got 40+% of your party's voters behind him.

Liberals aren't married to Obamacare...they're married to the idea that healthcare access is a right and not a privilege. And thats something you and every right wing pundit has argued against since 2009. Your frontrunner agrees with liberals and not with you. Like I said - it must be tough medicine. Pun intended.
