Hollywood Casino Indiana

Any of you guy been to this place? (boat) I'll be going next week and wanted to see if it was worth it.

While we went to the Argosy several times before the change to Hollywood, we've only been to Hollywood once. What a nice change it is!

Nice spacious, modern feel to it with a good variety of slots. The typical table games are available and while we were there (I believe this was a Saturday afternoon/evening) minimums were at $10 for Craps and card games. Craps dealers were very competent - didn't play any BJ that trip.

Overall, we felt a pretty good vibe there (your mileage may very) and really enjoyed the change from the Argosy.

Have fun and Good Luck!!!

Its easily the nicest looking casino in Indiana now. And the new hotel rooms are very well appointed and comfy. The buffet is ok but not as good as Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

I've had good luck in the casino there - I've only been twice. My last visit was about a year ago and the only good video poker I saw was a bank of $1 Progresives for 8/5 Bonus Poker. The slots were loose enough to send me home a winner.

As many times as I have been to Grand Vic, Belterra and Horseshoe, I have yet to stop at Hollywood (was never in Argosy, either).

We frequent Hollywood about twice a month. Large with great slot selection, so,so players club, very poor buffet. Very good ventilation. Drinks, other that soft drinks are NOT free. It's not Vegas but it's much much better than most "boats"
When you get inside you will not think you are on a floating vessel. There are two floors but most action is on the main level. Have had great days gambling & not so great. Just the way gambling is. Was there Monday afternon, I lost but wife got on a hot machine & walked out with over $3000 accumulated from three seperate Buffalo machines. Have a great time.
Looks like I'll be going there on Monday for a day trip. Unless of course, I win.

They 10-6 DDB machines at the $ 1 and $ 2 level back by the $ 1 progressive machines.
