Holy cow! The Patriots Cheated More Frequently Than Josh Duggar

As part of that report, written by Don Van Natta and Seth Wickersham, OTL says the Patriots recorded 40 games of opponents from 2000 through 2007.

This is in stark contrast to the statement of Goodell before the Super Bowl in February of 2008, when he told the media he believed there were "six tapes."

And Goodell has been caught lying again.

Actually the better source for this story is at ESPN.com Link

If the Patriots could have taken the four game suspension and have none of this released, they would have jumped at it. This may end up in Congressional hearings and could mean Belichick's job and Goodell's job.
Five important paragraphs from this article according to USA Today Link

Quote

“During pregame warm-ups, a low-level Patriots employee would sneak into the visiting locker room and steal the play sheet, listing the first 20 or so scripted calls for the opposing team’s offense. (The practice became so notorious that some coaches put out fake play sheets for the Patriots to swipe.)"

Quote

“A former Patriots employee who was directly involved in the taping system says “it helped our offense a lot,” especially in divisional games in which there was a short amount of time between the first and second matchups, making it harder for opposing coaches to change signals.”

Quote

“During games, Walsh later told investigators, the Patriots’ videographers were told to look like media members, to tape over their team logos or turn their sweatshirt inside out, to wear credentials that said Patriots TV or Kraft Productions. The videographers also were provided with excuses for what to tell NFL security if asked what they were doing: Tell them you’re filming the quarterbacks.”

Quote

“At Gillette Stadium, the scrambling and jamming of the opponents’ coach-to-quarterback radio line — “small s—” that many teams do, according to a former Pats assistant coach — occurred so often that one team asked a league official to sit in the coaches’ box during the game and wait for it to happen. Sure enough, on a key third down, the headset went out.”

Quote

“Goodell said that he had spoken with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and then-head coach Andy Reid and that “both said the outcome of the [February] 2005 Super Bowl was legitimate,” an assertion contradicted by the private feelings of many senior members of the team.”
Kind of like the Black Sox Scandal

Slick Willy and Hillary must be proud of the Pats.
DonDiego recalls remarking on earlier threads that the NFL would be sorry that this "deflate-gate" issue made it into Federal Court; DonDiego could not, and cannot, understand what legal standing the Judge had to change an NFL decision.

Now the dam has burst.

Why, . . . in jes' a few years DonDiego'll will be talking' 'bout how he remembers when the NFL used to be a real football league.
Holy cow! The Patriots Cheated More Frequently Than Josh Duggar

But....have they cheated more frequently than Slick Willy?

Spoken like a good, little, scared Republican puppet.

So, did Levin have anything new to preach to the sheep on his 9 to midnight hate fest ? Or perhaps you were watching 2nd airings of Hannity or BillO ?

Same old shit from the same old poster.

The Patriots...aka the Lance Armstrong of the NFL
Kraft productions? Shredding and smashing tapes? Wow, even if half of the stuff is true, well....WOW! I'm kinda speechless at the extent and there's so much and how long it's been going on and it seems everyone turned a blind eye to it. Simply incredible.

Before anyone starts saying ,"Oh yea, you're all just a bunch of haters". Well, no, It's not that, it goes way beyond disliking a team. As DD pointed out the league office has now been refuted by a judge and who knows where that will lead. What was once one of the most respected teams in the league now has tarnished not only itself but the league.

Brady may be remembered by the players as the guy who beat the commish but the public (sans Pats fans) will remember him as the biggest crybaby who ever put on a uniform and the reign of the Pats as completely blemished by a long run of cheating there way to the top. Pretty despicable. If I were a Patriot fan I thinI would seriously think of changing teams or at least 'til they got a new coach and really changed their ways, for real.
