Hooters at Palms

Looks like Hooters has closed. We went to the Palms on 1/1 and the entire place was covered with blue curtains from floor to ceiling.

We play at the Palms quite a bit and Hooters was always empty, even on Sundays with all the NFL games on TV.

Good riddance. I have nothing against Hooters and i like the vegas resort, Hooters...but talk about a clash of personalities. The Palms always geared their attention to old people and rich clubbers from southern Cal. Where does Hooters fit into that equation?
Does that make the shortest stint I've seen in a while for a new restaurant opening??? GEEZ!!
The World's Largest Hooters at Palms has been closed for a 'special event'. They will re-open tomorrow.

Hopefully that "Special Event" will be the demolition of the Hooters...

Hopefully the 'Special Event' wasn't some kind of fumigation.

We still miss the mexican restaurant.
Gardunos and Little Buddha were both replaced by restaurants that are far worse and likely less profitable. The Gardunos space has several failed attempts.
Every time I see a Hooter's commercial all of the food is deep fried. While the girls look great, they don't stay that way if they have a diet of Hooters food.
Holy crap, BOTH of those places are gone? I sat next to Ice-T at Gardunos once. And got comped some good food at Little Buddha. Ah well.
