Nobody's ever been able to make a successful venture out of that place and unless the place is gutted I dont think anyone ever will. If all they get is another "refreshening" with a new coat of paint and a new sign its going to go down the same path it always has.
1. It's too small 2. It has to compete with 4 other HUGE casinos at the Tropicana intersection 3. It's not in the flow of pedestian traffic which is basically north and south, up and down the Strip.
Just imagine what kind of mega-attraction the Trop would be if it bought Hooters, then leveled it and its existing property and rebuilt that entire corner from scratch with a new Hotel/Casino.

Rick
why would anyone even think about leveling the existing Trop property after the very successful remodel they just did?
