Host access to on line offers

Received a few emails from my CET host lately expressing a desire to help plan my next trip etc . So I said to myself , I need a trip to LV to escape the brutal Michigan winter . Emailed said host , with my trip plans requesting my usual 5 nights comped for late April . I received a message back that the first night would be $48.00 the last four comped . WTF ? My CET play has increased every year ! I go on line to check from my end , and I have 5 nights comped including a high floor end room .
I email her back asking why her offer doesn't match mine online , and she states that she does not have access to my offers and that since mine is better I should book it !
An executive host doesn't have the ability to get me the best offer that I am qualified for ? I am at a loss for words .
Anyone out there ever have a similar experience , or am I just dealing with an incompetent host ? Bob
I would say that lady must be new/inexperienced as a Host.
When you told her of the online offer, she should have offered to book it for you right then.

If you haven't already, have your offer in hand with all the details, call the property you want to stay at, ask to speak to a "slot Host. Tell the one who answers "I have this offer for xxxx, number xxx, can you book this for me?"

Hosts benefit from booking players in, and it is just good for the player to have Host booking on your reservation. Hopefully you'll get someone better on the line.

P.S. EVERY host at every property is an "Executive" Host even if it is their first day on the job. The "Executive" word means nothing special. A few who have risen higher in the job will have a few more words in their title such as "Senior Executive Host" or something similar.
She is a long time host . I can book the offer myself with no problem with a simple phone call .
Hosts get the same credit for your "action" whether they book it or you book it as long as they are assigned to you . Bob
Well, maybe she needs to retire. LOL
Have a good trip.

It seems to me, what is the point of having a host if you have to book it all yourself!!?? Maybe time to request a new host.....

EXACTLY ! Bob
the host is correct for some reason they are not included in marketing offers.this has happen to me acouple of times and yes it makes no sense.you can give her the # offer off your email and she can book it .
Strange - I just recently had the opposite experience.

For some unknown reason - after 10 years of receiving monthly mailers from a local CET - with room, dining credit, and free play offers - they have quit coming in the mail. But they are still posted online. I contacted a host I had never met, but had been assigned, and explained the situation.

His reply:
I have looked at your offers and it seems to us that it was mailed out to the Address on file. If you don’t receive them before you come in, I’ll still honor them...I'll print you out a comp that you will still be able to use.

And when I arrived, it was all taken care of.

Apparently this host could see all my offers.

Hmmmm... that's very interesting , I plan on conversing with a host in person to try and get the bottom line on my next visit to LV. Bob
