Hotel (Orleans) booking question

Hello!

I've got a question that I hope someone can answer for me...

My hubby has 2 offers at Orleans. He's booked 2 free nights and then on a separate reservation, he's booked 2 nights (consecutively so we'd be staying a total of 4 nights) at a reduced rate on a different offer. The fine print on an offer reads: "This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer." Will this be a problem for us at check-in? I'm hoping we can just combine the 2 reservations to make it easier.

Thanks so much!
should be no problem.
More than likely not a problem, but be sure to read the small print closely. Some offers prohibit multi use or use of another offer without a specified time gap. If you see anything that might be questionable, call reservations, marketing or a host to confirm use in that manner. Better to know in advance than finding out at checkin.

Good Luck!

It doesn't appear that you are using them "in conjunction with any other offer".

It does appear that you would be using them separate, which is two different offers (just back to back).

I don't see a problem at all with what you are doing.

Good Luck.

Rick

I dont see a problem, just tell the clerk on check in the situation. If you want to be sure call the reservations number and make sure that is allowed. I've done similar things there and they didn't even blink.
You should be good to go. I did this over Super Bowl weekend sorta....I had 2 free nights and booked Sat/Sun, then my fiance booked Weds/Thurs, and then I booked and paid for Friday night. Friday morning we went to check her out and I asked if they could book me into the same room so we wouldn't have to move, and the clerk said "Next time tell us this when you check in the first time and we will set it up that way"

And, this was at the Orleans.
Thanks so much for the replies, guys

That's what I was worried about. I didn't want to arrive at check in, find out it's a problem and then have to pay a much higher rate.

As it stands, now, I'm gonna have a mess at check-in anyway. There will be 4 of us, so we'll be booking 2 rooms. My hubby & I both have 2 free nights, so we reserved those. We'll be staying a total of 4 nights, so hubby reserved the other 2 nights in his name at a special rate (a different offer). I put his whole reservation on my cc, so I'll have to explain that and see if they can combine them.

Meanwhile, for our other room in my name...My daughter received a reduced offer, so she booked the other 2 nights in her name so we would have 4 consecutive nights for her room. I need to see if we can get our 2 reservations combined, even though we have different names.

I did read the fine print and the quote I included initially was the only sentence that sounded like it might be a problem.

We always stay at Orleans; it's our favorite hotel/casino. I've just never had this kind of problem before and I REALLY don't want to pay extra money when we get there when I could book with someone else ahead of time if I need to.

Thanks again, everyone!! You're so helpful
Last trip my husband had 3 free nights at Paris and we booked 2 more nights at casino rate. a few weeks later i got an offer under my name for a casino rate which was better than our inital rate, so i called and changed our llast 2 days to my offer. At check in, i inquired as to whether we would have to change rooms or check out and then recheck in due to the fact that they were unde 2 names. They handled everything perfectly and we didn't have to move or do the check out, check in thing. Kudos to Paris! The only thing is my credit card was charged 11.20 twice because i called the reservation line twice! It seems if you don't book online and call, you get charged 11.20! I complained mightly as i was not informed of this when i made my phone calls and the offer that i received in the mail stated to call the 800 number to book with nothing being said about being charged if you book by phone. They did take the charges off after my complaint, but it was very reluctantly. Anyone else had this problem?
Boyd is pretty picky downtown and won't let you do back to back stays even if they are at different Boyd properties. They won't even let you stay more than 7 days at the same property even if you're paying for the room. The seam a bit more relaxed at The Orleans.
If you have any doubts at all...call and speak with a host. I've done this at every stay because they only offer me 3 nights and I usually stay either 4 or 5. I call and speak with a host and get how ever many nights that I need for each visit. (I've never stayed nor requested more than 5 btw).

I usually deal with Sarah Breaux, but everyone I've encountered there has been helpful.

Good luck and have a great time!!!
