Standing is closest to the stage.
The standing room only joints in vegas to my knowledge include Brooklyn bowl, the old joint, now vinyl (haven't been in the new joint) in the hard rock, sls and hob are not huge. If you want center stage front row you have to go pretty close to doors opening. My favorite spot at these types of places are above the steps so I can see over the crowd. They are never too big. About the size of an large open dance floor bar. While I prefer a seat, you usually get a closer view than an arena so it is a much more intimate concert.
