How about a Bloomberg run for the Presidency?

Unhappy with the state of the election thus far, former NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg is considering running as a third party. I lived through his stint as Mayor and was pretty happy with his performance the first two terms. Where he lost me was when he rammed through the change to allow him to run for a third term.
I'd give him a serious look, as I'm less than thrilled with anyone else running for the job at the moment.
I'll pass. I like buying a large cola if I feel like it.

I think much of the country is looking for an unknown to emerge and save us from the current lackluster field.

Counting the Republicans, Democrats and independents running, I believe there are somewhere around 20 candidates still running. I don’t think Bloomberg has a chance. People are looking for radical change this election. That is why Trump and Sanders are doing so well. They both have bold plans to shore up the middle class and bring back high paying jobs. Trump wants to do it through trade policy and immigration. Sanders wants to do it through universal healthcare and free college. An independent running as a centrist doesn’t stand a chance in this environment. If they did, Jeb would be mopping up the floor on the Republican side of things right now and Hillary would have the Democratic primary already wrapped up.

Since Bloomberg aligns more closely with Democrat voters than Republican votes, his entry into the run aids the GOP.

Umm, . . . DonDiego is available, . . . and he has a birth certificate from a regular old United States' State, . . . for a change.

His stop-n-frisk administration will largely be a turn off for Democrats - in addition to his coziness with Wall St. But he's largely a centrist which means he'll peel voters away from any party that nominates a polarized candidate. The John McCain wing of the GOP would go for him before Cruz/Trump. . And the Claire McCaskil wing of the Democrats might go for him over Bernie Sanders.

If the race turns out to be Bloomberg, Trump, Sanders, Mike will win in a landslide. Both Trump and Sanders would alienate such a large group of their party that almost any centralist would wipe them up.
I think Bloomberg guarantees a GOP win. Only those on the far left consider him to be a centrist. He's a tried and true Liberal.
He was a good mayor when he stuck to running the city. People were turned off by his nanny Bloomberg policies.
