Heartfelt congrats to the Bruins - they were the better team through the series and deserve the cup.
A team that truly wants to win does not allow themselves to be blown out like the Canucks did in their losses in the final round. Boston had the heart, Vancouver didn't. I'm sure there are going to be some big changes here in Vancouver before next season because a lot of this team just didn't play to the level they could, and should, have.
As for the morons rioting here after the game - they were idiots who went downtown for the sole purpose of making trouble, not to enjoy watching the Stanley Cup Championship game. I believe this would have happened regardless of whether Vancouver had won or lost. Many of them wore backpacks filled with rocks and were using bandanas and gas masks to hide their faces and deal with tear gas. Not the usual "fan" gear one expects to see. All I can say is I'm glad so many of them turned out to be such camera hogs, smiling and mugging for the photos and videos while they trashed the area. Their faces are now being plastered all over several internet sites so they can be ID'd and charged for the havoc they caused.
(PS> the last Canadian team to win was indeed the '93 Montreal Canadiens)
As for my beloved Flyers, well, there's always next year!
