How Are You Celebrating International Women's Day?

WTF?? How is that even a day? I seriously have people making posts about it on Facebook. When is International Men's Day? Why don't we just combine it and make it International People Day?

What color do we have to wear to show our support?

I'm in the midst of a all day Lifetime Channel marathon. Only 2 hrs. and 20 mins. to go.

I have no idea. I didn't get the memo. Maybe I forgot to pay my dues this year. I'm just annoyed by a 24 year old relative posting all sorts of junk on Facebook making it sound like she's lived something other than a pampered life and how its so hard being a woman. I really should hide her.

Well this woman will probably celebrate by getting a settlement from the DC fire dept.(like they can really afford it,houses have burned because they dont have enonough guys). From what i understand,this alleged "crime" would always happen while he was inspecting his people for inspection or something like that which,in her mind.will emotionally scar her and she'll never be able to hook her bra again while dressing or the horrer she'll experience whilst brushing her hair,probably can't ever do it on her own and will need help,oh ,and the pschiatric sessions. An emotional cripple for life she'll be,god help her through these trying times.

a female firefighter in Sarasota, Fla. filed a sexual harassment complaint against him when he was fire chief there several years ago. The story also claims the Gray administration and the D.C. Council hired him without requesting a copy of his personnel file that contained the complaint.

The female firefighter who complained did not like the way Ellerbe looked at her, saying he leered, looked her up and down and stared at her chest. The paper also says other women also made similar accusations.

i think the idea of celebrating "international womens day" is dumb. i also do not think it should be used as a reason to come out of nowhere to slam any woman. so i give to you, a bunch of links to stories about men suing fire departments. theres plenty more where these came from. google is your friend.
