I have wondered if after 4 or 8 years, will they hand it off to Michelle. I don't think she has ever been in public service, but that wont matter. look how far Trump has made it. it would just be another coronation.

I don't know where the Republican party goes from here. They had their Dream Team running in their primary: Sitting Senators, Sitting Governors, Son of A Former President, Brother of A former President. Former Governors, Former Senators, and a well-known neurosurgeon. Trump beat them all and publically humiliated quite a few of them. I don't think Trump will run again, but I am sure someone will copy his formula. They will make a similar appeal to the white nationalist movement which while allowing them to capture the nomination in the primary will render them unelectable in the general. The Republican party is no the longer the pro-wealthy and pro-big business party. It is the party of the alt-right.
