Billy, nice dodge. Would you buy a used car from Liarry?
I don't think she's driven a car in decades.

I don't buy used cars.
Not from her or her husband.....and that's my vote, not Liarry.
Bill, you dodged again.....if I play your game, I have to guess you tacitly agree that you wouldn't. Ain't it nice when what goes around, comes around?

...And this year I don't trust the polls. Why not? My view is there aren't many voters voting FOR someone...
That is true about Mr. Trump but not at all true about Secretary Clinton - according to fivethirtyeight.com. Have you ever heard of them?

The percentage of Mr. Trump's voters saying that they are voting FOR their candidate, as opposed to voting against his opponent, is the lowest on record since 1980. In contrast, Secretary Clinton’s voters feel about as positively about their candidate as any candidate’s supporters have felt about their own preferred candidate since 1980.

About what you would expect.

I don't beleive that for a second and I'm not saying it's a decider either way, but Trump packs 'em in wherever he goes, so many that a lot of folks don't even get in and the're all extremely passionate(just like the hired DNC instigators are). The hill doesn't do anything close.
Crowds don't mean much. George McGovern packed the house....and he got beaten real bad. Or, let's look more recently.....who was that guy? Bernie Sanders, who packed the places every time he went out......he lost too.

I think Cruz or Rubio would have clobbered Liarry.
But then I also think that Sanders would have wiped the floor with Trump.
As I've said for many elections......300 million people, and this is the best we got?

Ideology held apart, no one can tell me why they are voting Liarry. All you hear is she isn't Trump or that she's alleged to be female.
Trump backers seemingly want change. And they truly believe Trump will provide it.

Forkie.....can we call college indoctrination centers yet? 4 years of liberal drivel, and they can't think for themselves, let alone find a good paying job. And to think of all the debt they went into to get themselves into that position.
The Political signage here in Ohio is Trump ahead by greater than a 5 to 1 margin.

Hillary can't be trusted with National Security information and by her deeds makes her a serious liability to the country. Best to have her out of the White House and away from public service.

There's a common phrase in the campaign business: "Lawn signs don't vote." They are more trouble than they are worth, and they can give your laziest and cheapest supporters the impression they are actually accomplishing something.

You will be happy to know however that fivethirtyeight.com is presently predicting Trump as the victor in Ohio. But you won't like what else they are predicting.

I think that's more utter bullshit. Why in the world would someone go to the bother of putting a sign up if they weren't planning on voting, that says to me the person is above avg passion on elections. I consider myself of avg. enthusiasm on elections and if I were to ever , EVER go to the bother of putting a sign up in my yard it means I'm sure as hell gonna be voting.

I would add that even putting up a trump sign can invite more trouble than it's worth, so why advertise if you're not going to vote. Someone put up a huge T/P sign on an empty lot at the entrance to my neighborhood, took no time for it to get vandalized, then eventually ripped up. The person (I assume the owner) made a handmade sign saying "you can tear down my sign but you can't change my vote". That was quickly followed by a bunch of other crap.

I do think there's a boatload of 'silent' Trump people who will be voting, how many that number will be remains to be seen.

Where did they teach you that saying ,In DNC driving school?
I can't speak for Forkush, but that's not how I interpreted his post.

I think yard signs do little to influence other voters. They are a questionable expense for many campaigns. And I wrote that as someone who typically has 2 or 3 yard signs on my lawn (for moderate Republicans who get killed in the primary typically).

To influence other voters requires knocking on doors, passing out literature, making phone calls to likely supportive voters, writing a check for propositions and candidates I support and so on.
