Bob, do you by chance ever run across a long time drag racing guy named John West (aka Johnny West)? He has owned teams, driven nitro, and won a couple of World Championships back in the day. He now owns a company in Phoenix selling components for the cars.

He used to live in my old Indiana town, and we would golf now and then.

Something I find very unusual about your statement, and all of the controversy surrounding the NC law concerning public restrooms is, I have only seen one public restroom that had a sign on it designating it as being a UNISEX restroom. That was last weekend, and the restroom was at ZMAX Dragway, a sports stadium in North Carolina.

In every case that the blm has rioted on, the police were exonerated. The SBLM should focus on the huge numbers of blacks killed by blacks. It is the leading cause of deaths of young black males. No other demo has homicide as the leading cause of death.

Your earlier chart ignores the fact that blacks commit crimes way above their level of their US population. As a result, there is an increased risk of police confrontations.
If the blacks lowered their crime rate, then the number of blacks killed by the police will go down.

I heard an interview with an "African-American studies" professor who threw out the statistic that blacks are 8x more likely to resist arrest....run, fight the police, etc....than any other demographic. Don't recall where he said he got that stat, and I haven't tried to look it up, I just thought it was an interesting way to look at it.

Me, I think it's those "Straight Outta Compton" punks and that "F@CK THE POLICE" song

It's shocking to are resident "lefties" that people who ignore police commands, run from police, attack police, act in a threatening manner, and pull guns are shot and beaten more often than those who obey politely. More blacks are punks, so more get shot and more get their asses kicked.

A walk down the Vegas strip at Midnight proves my point. If the large % of black's brash conduct, hood clothes, foul language, and utter disrespect for others (especially white people and cops) isn't proof enough, then your head's in the sand.

Grow a pair people, and admit the truth. As a group, the black population doesn't rate well.

As has been noted elsewhere the Black community has a higher crime rate than the White community. Thus it is reasonable that the police confront Blacks disproportionately to their portion of the population.

What DonDiego is suggesting is that if BLM really cared about "Black Lives" and concentrated on Black-on-Black violence, they could well save more Black Lives than just popping up whenever there is a confrontation between Police and Black suspects and encouraging destructive protests, . . . things like theft of stores (disproportionately drug stores for some reason), arson, personal assaults, and general mayhem.

Of course devising a plan to reduce Black-on-Black crime is much more difficult and less entertaining than encouraging protests over assumed-felonious police violence against Blacks.

If BLM cared about black "Lives", they would oppose 3rd term abortions funded by Planned Parenthood because Planned Parenthood disproportionately funds the abortion of black "lives".

According to the CDC, between 2007 and 2010, black babies were nearly 36 percent of the abortions in the United States, though blacks represent only 12.8 percent of the population.

Noted elsewhere? Perhaps from the same forum you got your graph from...some anonymous person with a photo-bucket account?

It obviously makes DonDiego uncomfortable to come face to face with the way people are pre-judged by the color of their skin from our law enforcement agencies. The official investigation from Ferguson revealed a culture of rampant police discrimination that routinely shook down the black community for money.

And illegal drug use is largely the same proportion accross racial lines...and yet one race gets punished alot more frequently than the others. I'm sure DonDiego cant guess which one.

I played poker with Johnny West and David Baca's crew in a private game at the Plaza in downtown Las Vegas in 2003. The game was set up by David Baca's PR guy, Roland McNew, who invited me to play. Johnny was tuning David's Top Fuel Dragster at the time.

In many communities running from the criminals in blue who illegally profile is a survival skill. And perfectly justified.

"Black men who try to avoid an encounter with Boston police by fleeing may have a legitimate reason to do so — and should not be deemed suspicious — according to a ruling by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
