How 'bout them Yankees?

3 grand slams - doesn't say much for the opposing pitchers, shouldn't they get some of the credit?

Nope, grew up in Chicago and suburbs. I started watching the Yankees when I was a kid and it seemed they were always playing the Brooklyn Dodgers in the series. I especially loved the team in 1977, I think it was -- the year the TV movie "The Bronx is Burning" was about. Therman Munson, Bucky Dent, Chris Chambliss, Lou Piniella, etc, etc.

Why can't Sue be a fan of both teams? First of all, they are in different leagues and are not natural rivals. Perhaps if the Yankees had beaten the Cubs in a few WS then I would certainly understand a resentment towards them. If you are going to use the "Evil Empire" argument then you might as well include the Boston Red Sox in that category. I would be a lot more shocked if Sue was also a Cardinals fan.

Yankee fans care, thats who!!! & envy don't bother us we r used 2 it!!

Dan, you know you are living on the edge when the Pale Hose carry your day. Lol

Got `em again today. I'm the world's least Ozzie Guillem fan but sometimes you just gotta love the one you're with. Oh wait....starting to sound like Bags! LOL

Dan, it sounds like you as much as you are betting the White Sox, you are wagering against the Mariners, which is probably smart money.
I am a die hard Yankee fan ...... but can not watch when AJ pitches. My TV is too expensive to replace.
