How can this be?

I remember the left yelling and screaming how anybody who didn't vote for Obama and thought he was an idiot was an out and out racist. In fact any and all conservatives were just a bunch of old angry white men who didn't like black people. I still see the race card being pulled out from time to time.

However look at who is leading the Rep. candidates in the polls. If the the right is so racist, how can a black man be leading the polls, AND neck and neck with Hillary?

Poll: Clinton Ties Carson in '16 Matchup, but Tops Other GOP Candidates

"One year out before the 2016 general election, Hillary Clinton and Ben Carson are tied in a hypothetical matchup, but Clinton leads three other major Republican candidates, according to brand-new numbers from the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Clinton is ahead of Republican Donald Trump by eight points among registered voters, 50 percent to 42 percent.

She leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush by four points, 47 percent to 43 percent.
And Clinton holds a three-point advantage over Sen. Marco Rubio, 47 percent to 44 percent, though that's well within the poll's margin of error of plus-minus 3.4 percentage points.

But against Ben Carson, who is now leading the GOP horserace in the NBC/WSJ poll, Clinton finds herself in a tied contest, 47 percent to 47 percent. "

"
The reason why Carson performs better versus Clinton than the rest of the GOP field is due to Carson's standing among independent voters.

Carson leads Clinton by 13 points among independents (47 percent to 34 percent). That's compared with Rubio's seven-point lead here (42 percent to 35 percent), Bush's four-point lead (41 percent-37 percent) and Trump's four-point lead (43 percent to 39 percent)..."

If Carson wins the GOP primary, Liberals will use the "He's not black enough" race card, meaning that only Liberals blacks are "real" blacks, and Conservatives like Carson are "Uncle Toms". You can bet on it.

As occurred during the nomination of Clarence Thomas for the Supreme Court.
If Carson wins the nomination, or appears to have a reasonable chance to win the nomination, he's an instant "Uncle Tom". There will be personal attacks on every front. Bet on it.

The tolerant Left is quite an intolerant group.

I think someone is still living in the '60's. Right on, bro.

Eleven years ago when Obama faced Alan Keyes in his run for the US Senate, no one bothered saying the Keyes was an Uncle Tom. Instead, they just pointed out that he was cuckoo bananas. Just like they would do with Carson.

And Boilerman, catch you on the flip side!

I saw a CNN piece this morning implying Carson's whole bad-boy thug youth is a lie and Carson has always been a pencil-protector wearing intelligent non-thug.

What a world we live in where Carson is defending that he was a thug and the media is trying to prove he wasn't.
Forkie is again wrong. Do some research. It'll happen soon with the GOP black Carson.

The world famous Bennie Thompson said it! Well he's living in the '60's too. Maybe you two should get together and discuss your favorite Gilligans Island episodes.

So Boilerman, you burned up the Google and found one example, from the famous Bennie Thompson, that neither you nor I ever heard of until today, and that proves that *THEY* *ALWAYS* do it, huh? Meanwhile, Obama didn't do it when he ran against Alan Keyes, and they didn't always do it when it came to the races involving black Republicans like Senator Tim Scott, or Representatives Mia Love or Alan West. But they always do it, right?

You should just admit you're wrong. I think that would be totally bitchin.'
