How cold is it this morning?

Geesh...... minus 20 degrees this morning, with a wind chill in the minus 30's. Glad I'm not up in northern Minnesota (Tower,Mn) where I fish in the summer...it's minus 38 ....throw another log on the fire, Lena. More snow on the way.

left work at 7am this morning and it was 31 below zero without any windchill

And to think I'm pissing and moaning at 41 degrees here in Vegas....

Left at 5:45 for work this a.m. and had frost on my eyelashes in the 2 block walk to the Light Rail heading to Downtown Minneapolis. Very Very Cold!!

No offense to any Las Vegans, but, 41 is downright balmy in a lot of the states, especially with the sun shining. We watched CSI last night, some of the characters were wearing parkas w/fur collars. We had a good chuckle.

Friday morning in Chicago it was -2, with the wind chill at -20.

Not as bad as Jan. 20, 1985, when the temps hit -27 with wind chills down to -60. School was closed for two days. (oh darn)

That's funny becuase I thought the same thing!

I'm in CT. It was 19 here aroung 7pm. Tomorrow it's supposed to be -8. Another Nor'easter forcasted for Tuesday. Honestly...I don't know where we are going to put any more snow. I guess we now have a new four letter word...SNOW!

So Friday morning it was -20 degrees, yesterday it warmed up and the temp climbed all the way up to an even zero, this morning it's -10. I think the snowman that the neighbor kids made a couple of weeks ago packed up and headed south. People are walking around here so bundled up with clothes that they look like the Michelen tire guy.
