How I feel about Mr. Trump

I am ashamed and embarrased that this man will represent this great country.

The world will now wonder "we thought the US was great.

No more looking up to our president.

Do I get an "amen"

Under obama

the US is weaker militarily
He is the only president not to have at least one year of a 3% GDP growth rate
One of the lowest GDP growth rates of any president.
$10T in additional debt
Highest number of people on food stamps
The only president ot have had the US debt rating downgraded
Near 10% U6 rate
Lowest level of adult participation in the labor force

So who should be embarrassed?

Well Obama did keep his promises:
- Close Gitmo
- Close tax loopholes for CEO compensation
- Create income tax exemption for poor seniors
- created many shovel ready projects to improve our infrastructure
- Got seniors cheaper drugs via medicare
- Broke through the cold war stance with Russia

Or maybe he didn't and these are just a few.

His approval rating is at a historical low for someone who hasn't taken office. Unpresidented.

He is who was elected and that makes him the President. Did you cry babies vote? Or, are you just like the rest who oppose him and just want to keep complaining.

8 years of what we had was not sustainable, he doubled the national debt. Hillary would have given us more of the same.

Democratic party is at it's lowest point in my lifetime (age 60) not only at the national level but state level, county level and city level. Folks must not like the message they are getting from them.

I no longer trust any ratings or polls from the general news media. It is clear they have an agenda and no longer just report the news.

Well Obama did keep his promises:
- Close Gitmo -ACTUALLY STILL OPEN, THE GOVT HAS LOST TRACK OF MANY OF THEM & ARE BELIEVED TO HAVE RETURNED TO THEIR WAYS
- Close tax loopholes for CEO compensation - ?
- Create income tax exemption for poor seniors - ?
- created many shovel ready projects to improve our infrastructure - EVEN HE ADMITTED THERE WEREN'T THAT MANY SHOVEL READY JOBS
- Got seniors cheaper drugs via medicare -ONLY THRU THE DISASTER OF OF OBAMACARE; HE ALSO CUT MEDICARE SPENDING
- Broke through the cold war stance with Russia - RUSSIA HAS INCREASED THEIR MILITARY READINESS, INVADED THE UKRAINE, DEFENDED SYRIA ALL THE WHILE WE REDUCED OUR MILITARY

Yet he has done nothing but positive things so far, like saving a few billion on aircraft being built, namely the F-35 and the new air force one(s) plus he has seemingly kept a few jobs (and factories) in the US. Off to a good start for a man who hasn't even been sworn in yet don't you think?

His low approval rating is completely media/hollywood(celebs)/protesters but mostly media. The outgoing admin (fairly disgraceful) and the current dems in congress crying sour grapes who are going to boycott (VERY DISGRACEFUL) are also contributing to the mania.

It's really becoming a joke all the uproar people are making and in the end, bottom line is DT will be our next President, no matter how much people are upset over the fact, it remains a fact no matter what.

All this before the guy is even on the job.

We really only have 2 roles for public figures to play, hero and villain, and for some reason we really want everyone to fit into those roles when the truth is usually much more complex. For many Americans and especially the media Obama was the hero and Trump the villain although for others it's reversed. They gave Obama the nobel peace prize, for winning an election? And people are talking about impeaching Trump, before he takes office?
