Ive been at the same address for almost all of my Vegas trips so ive never seen what happens when you move

Didn't move, but changed to a Post Office box number after kids knocked over our mailbox. I didn't notify casinos (didn't think to), but somehow in short order they all had the P.O. Box number.

In fact, years ago when we did move to a new address, the charities and mail order catalogs etc. starting coming to the new address immediately, and obviously I had not notified any of them.

We still have our 12 year old bluish silver MGM-Mirage cards and they still work.

Same here. Last week in Vegas, when getting my free play loaded at an MGM property and handed over my DL and the blue MGM card, the lady said "Oh, my, this is our old card, so I need to give you our newer card" which she did.

I have half a dozen or more of the "newer" ones, but the silvery blue one is the one I recognize when I'm looking through my cards, and that is the one I still use.

I hated when Harrah's went to the brown Diamond card. I like the silvery white one much better.

Double sheesh. He has to be kidding.

This topic reminds me that I need to look in my old suitcase in my closet and see how many old cards I still have. Yes, I actually used to carry a suitcase to Vegas with my players cards, notebooks, baseball tip sheets, pens that I stole from the hotels I stayed at, casino-used decks of cards, key chains, etc.... Could be interesting to say the least. I have two $10 medaliions from Stratosphere. I tried to convert these into real cash the last time I was there and the cashier said they were no longer valid. So I have these clunking pieces of metal. May keep them to see if they are worth anything in years to come. Who knows.

Thanks for bringing up the subject to begin with. I started going to Vegas in 1986. Brought back some memories to say the least! Fred
Hotels expect you to take the pens, stationery, etc. Part of the room cost.

Once a friend asked me to bring her some pens from Bellagio.
I wrote a note to the housekeeper (along with the $5 tip) asking for "a few extra pens".
Housekeeper left us a batch of Q-Tips.

So husband looked up how to write "pens" in Spanish, and we submitted the request the next day.
Housekeeper left about 20 Bellagio pens!
Usually only use Boyd, Stations & CET, but I bring them all anyways and keep them in the rental car. Have a 5 inch stack in my drawer, which includes AC and Tunica.

My stack of cards is 3 inches thick - some for places that don't even exist anymore. I bring them all to Vegas every year. At any time I carry up to 10 of them in my wallet for the casinos I plan to visit each day. You need them for coupons ... but also for buffet discounts.

I always figured you had 3 inches...

Get over it Milled. Stop being a boner.

I have gobs from vegas, tunica and Indiana. when I im in vegas, I bring all of my vegas cards, and then each day carry with me the only the ones I think I might need for that day. I think I still have some oldies, stardust, sahara, Aladdin, westward ho, and how about this one: the Trump casino in Gary Indiana! oh the memories.
