How many casino cards(active) do you carry around?10-20?

We bring the whole pile when we come to Vegas, but only carry the ones we plan to use that day with us.

Not really ...........
First, casinos would have to install card readers on all slot and video poker machines.
If you are playing table games, you would have to give your phone to the dealer,
who in turn would have to give it to the pit boss to scan.

It would be really nice though.
Maybe Someday.

I bring a bank bag full of cards to Vegas with me. It has my wife's cards as well. I "cleaned" out the old ones that are not of any use before each trip. After looking at the links and seeing that some of the older cards might have value, makes me glad I didn't throw them away. I also have all the Tunica cards along with several from various casinos in Oklahoma. I also have cards for all the Laughlin Casinos. Just for fun, my list of Vegas cards that I can remember are below:

Riviera: Guess that one will go into retirement.
Boyd: My most used card in Vegas. Sam's Town is my favorite.
Harrahs: My least used card.
MGM: Didn't use it much before MyVegas.
Grazzie: Used once when I found a $35 free play for new members coupon on the ground.
Casino Royal: Semi-Retired after their monthly fun book sheet was down graded.
LVH: Not sure if it is carried over to the new club or now?
Tuscany: Used it once.
Ellis Island: Steak Dinner is all I need to say.
Silverton: Love the Mermaid show.
South Point: Play for your buffet and birthday month always gets me there.
M: Went to see a comedian there and played there then.
The D: Sigma Derby won't take my card dang it.
El Cortez: Love their Cabana Suites for the price
Four Queens: Some day I will hit the 10-7 Double Bonus Progressive
Binions: Best place to earn comp money playing poker at $2.50 an hour.
Plaza-LVC: Use to love the LVC, they've let it decline to nothing.
Siegal Card: Not even sure where I got this one?
Golden Gate: Love the 25 point pan cakes!
Golden Nugget: Play poker there once a year to take advantage of the ACG 60 for 50 buy-in coupon.
Jerry's Nugget: They have some of the old quarter 9-6 jacks or better machines.
Poker Palace: Love there cheap 6 PM poker tournament. They also have nickel 9-6 jacks.
Silver Nugget: Use to play there some and got great food offers.
Lucky Club: First time I went there it was closed due to a fire.
Cannery: Use to go out there and really liked the place
Eastside Cannery: I like their house bands and daily offers.
Longhorn-Bighorn: Matchplays, and nice cheap black jack with very liberal rules
Joker's Wild: A Boyd Casino, but they have their own card
Stations Casinos: Boulder Station and Fiesta Henderson is where I use it the most.
Club Fortune: This is right across from our Condo: Best kept break fast secret at $1.49.

Some of the "Retired" cards that I still have:
Sahara
Hilton
Star Dust
Frontier
Bill's
Barbary Coast
O-Sheas
Westward Ho
Nevada Palace
I have a couple that I still like that were discontinued when casinos joined a bigger corporation. One of my favorites is the old Circus-Circus cards. My favorite is an old Orleans card that was given for tracking play in the poker room. It had an alligator on it.

When I go to Vegas (soon!) I segregate the cards into a Strip Lanyard and a Downtown Lanyard.

I have tons....but I toss out the old ones.
Guess I shouldn't,,,,

I'll buy the old Stardust card for $3. Like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/hamsters/2661642516/

FINALLY got it to post.

Love this topic...my cards almost got me on who wants to be a millionaire. I made it to the very last final five of the day because I have probably nearly 60-70 or so, probably more, in a makeup pouch in my car. I grabbed it on the way in and when asked about myself said I was a professional gambler. I keep both my husband's and mine in there. I also had a very old one of my mom's with status for valet parking that I would flash and the lady (why always ladies) told me I needed an updated one.

I also have hundreds of copies and closed ones thrown about in piles around the house. I joke that maybe I should line an accent wall with them...that or the free showgirl photos that I have taken with all my visitors.

But yes, you need them all for wherever you may end up for the evening and I never know where that may be, but some you need for discounts, buffets or parking. You never know....they are my lifeline, lol. And you never know when a damn tour bus will be causing a line. Oh, tour buses are great. They pay the taxes
You know you have an addiction when you have to keep all the different ones from the same place too. I probably have 500 or more if I really looked around and I do randomly pitch them, but can't bring myself to throw away ones that aren't exact copies.
