How Many Ways Can You Lose? (a Trip Report)

Ah...a fellow loser...my condolences!
Nice TR! Well we all been there when it comes to the big long losing streak! Hey at least the Detroit Lions are 4-0!
I agree with the person who said you have a beautiful face. You also have a cheerful way of looking at things and I enjoyed reading your trip report.
Your luck, or lack of, mirrored my June trip. Thanks for sharing.
Great trip report Blonde4ever. I even popped some popcorn and got a drink halfway through your report. Thanks for the great pictures. I love the Aria beds!! Just wondered how much freeplay you had to go through all the trouble of checking in at these places and not staying...

Brad

The freeplay varied.....usually about 100 to 150.

Thank you Miss L!
i had a trip just like yours one time! zero quads, which seemed impossible to me. how the hell does that happen?? and then at the end, i got a nickel royal. after losing on quarters. sigh.

when you were in the dollar store, did you notice if they still have the sign with the misspelling "discunt" instead of "discount?" it amused me.

thanks for the room pictures!

Perhaps poor, old DonDiego can end the depression within this thread.

As he types, DonDiego is seated in a North Tower room at the Plaza Hotel and Casino. It's a lovely "new" room overlooking Main Street Station, with shiny new furnishings and carpet and wall coverings and an artsy-fartsy sink and 40-year-old doors with the veneer peeling and electrical outlets to which it is difficult (like crawling-on-the-floor-difficult) to plug in the laptop or impossible to plug in some of the lamps in the room.

teechur and DonDiego drove up from Laughlin yesterday, after spending the day watching all the NFL games in Tarzan's Lounge at the Golden Nugget. Oh, . . . and DonDiego had some money on the games too. After sorting everything out from his 3 straight bets (which he won) and numerous parlays and teasers (with mixed results), . . . DonDiego netted right at $1000.
Only his beloved Eagles really let him down, . . . and although the Falcons kept DonDiego in the LVA Group Survivor Pool, their failure to cover the 4-point spread in a 3-team parlay let $550 more slip through his fingers.

On the negative side, it is getting tough to find decent Jacks-or-Better low-limit slots; the best DonDiego could find in Laughlin were 9/5 or 8/6 and the shiny new machines here at the Plaza are 7/5. Oh, and the Plaza offers the "World's Most Liberal" blackjack game, which pays even-money on a blackjack.

Uh-oh! Time to go to the El Cortez - "Las Vegas Like It Used To Be".

DonDiego wishes all "Better Luck "
Wow Jenaphir...ironic that the same thing happened to you.
Ironic and sad.

I didn't notice the misspelled sign in the dollar store. There was a child knocking things over and the owner was yelling at the mother so I figured it was time to beat a hasty retreat....

Thanks for the interest guys!
Great report Blonde
Thanks.

Don Diego needs new glasses. There are quarter 9/6 machines right at the Plaza, at Main Street-both at the Boars Head bar and in the casino, dozens of them across the street at the California and dozens more at the Four Queens.
Even better, 10/7 DB at both MSS and Cal in quarters. You can use 9-6 strategy and get 99.7%. Hold inside straights and 3 card flushes and you'll be at about 99.9%.
Not too shabby.
