how to score endless free flights

i thought this article was very interesting.

we can now start a debate on whether or not its ethical. ill start: just think of those poor people who have to clean the planes! they now have to do extra work because more people can fly for FREE.

...and when the airlines start to charge for peanuts, we only have ourselves to blame.
lol

The was a huge loophole in the online poker club I belong to. they have tourneys for cash, prizes and points.
The points get you invited to larger prize games. On Sunday am around 600am the system would re-boot and your points would be set to zero. If you used all your points right before 600am Sunday to sign up for games you would be reset to zero like anyone else. Then after the reset, they would cancel their registrations for the games they signed up for and all those points would revert back to them. That in turn got them an automatic invite to the big games. Other players complained about this for about a year, then they finally fixed it.

How's everyone hauling your coin hoards into the bank? I'm using a rolling suitcase when it's under 100 pounds.

"and I want to know exactly how much did you spend with that airline previously or are you just using them for the rewards? Don't be surprised when you get no future offers from them, I warned you."

and his little sidekick will be on his coattails with...
"XXXX is absolutely correct. Abusing the system will only ruin for you and others."

Ten to twenty years ago there was a similar type of thing where a guy was buying traveler's checks to get airline mileage. American Express finally caught up to what he was doing and saw to it that you didn't qualify for airline points when purchasing traveler's checks.

When I first got credit cards I was wondering why you couldn't take cash advances on your credit card and recycle the cash in order to get airline points. Cash advance fees weren't as bad back then. The credit card company put the disclaimer on their airline program that cash advances don't count towards points.

I also wondered about someone having a fictitious business and having a merchant account whereby you recycle sales through a mileage card. Of course you will have to pay merchant account fees.
The flight is free for you but the person/business is paying for the tickets via the merchant account fees. More than likely, these are seats that would have gone unsold anyway, so the airline is still making money. The people cleaning the planes are still going to get paid, don't worry.

I'm going to put this in the "why in the hell didn't I think of this" file.

OK, I'll bite:

The immediate bank deposit of $1 Coins ordered through this Program does not result in their introduction into circulation and, therefore, does not comply with the intended purpose of the Program.

If you are ordering these coins with the intention of depositing them, then you are not complying with the program, and you promised to do so. I do not feel it is ethical to break a oath, even when there is no penalty involved. I guess some people feel breaking an oath is no big deal. The reason I don't like others breaking this oath is because it is costing me money as it is my tax dollars shipping these heavy coins for someone to deposit in order to scam a government program.
