OK,I never ever fall for any celeb endorsed crap on TV ,especially home shopping network,BUT,tonight happened to be a little different. My wife happened to be surfing in the bedroom and came across emeril hawking his cookware. Now normally my wife never ever watches that crap,in fact she hates shopping.When christmas comes around ,she absolutely abhors going to the mall(nice wife,good wife,pat pat).
But back to the point,several years ago my mom bought me a an emeril skillet for xmas and damned if it didn't turn out to be a really fantastic skillet(to this day i can still flip an omellete and swirl an egg around no problem). I got the small skillet following year. Of course out of curiosity i checked to see how over priced this stuff was because it was "EMIRIL'S" name on it. Sure enough strolling around a BB&Y one day i saw it was like 8obucks for a skillet. WHOA,but didn't really shock me that much because it was "emiril".
OK,I really digressed that time. So tonight emeril had on HSN(home shopping network) his entire pots and pans collection for 180 bucks ,or 5 e-z flex payments of 39 bucks or something. We didn't really need a new set but we succumbed to the allmighty draw of american consumerism. It really is a nice set and I love to cook so i figure it's OK.180 bucks? WTH. At least i don't owe a nickel to anybody but my mortgage co.,well except for my new 5 super duper E-Z flex pmts. of 39 bucks! and free S&H.We chose black.

EDIT; notice comments about my wife sound disrespectful. Quite the contrary,made VERY tounge in cheek. Matter of fact i wouldn't be here today if not for her,just celebrated 21 yrs on 6/30.
