Hurr durr

LVA has been going slowly down hill lately. All the people I liked talking to are moving on. I've been lurking for years. I've been second guessing about renewing my subscription to LVA for a few months now.

Suddenly, I get a private message from "TanyaM". She wants me to resize my avatar or replace it because she doesn't think it's 120x120. Seriously.......

Right click my avatar. What are the dimensions? 120x120. Amazing right?

So I explain this to her/him/whatever and she just repeats it....again.

The dimensons of my avatar on this forum are 120x120. It's not hard to see, it's pretty simple. Basic internet forum skills right? Apparently not.

I suppose this TanyaM is some sort of forum moderator or works for LVA. Guess what. If a moderator of this forum can't figure out that 120x120 = 120x120 then no wonder people aren't coming back.

I pay my yearly subscription to get someone nagging me about a forum avatar.....when they can't even use common sense to right-click and see I am following the rules?

My subscription is up for renewal in May and I can't see a serious reason to resubscribe. I can deal with not using the MRB. I can't deal with people who don't listen or don't know what they are talking about.

There are plenty of people who are actually in violation of this "rule" whose avatars actually exceed the 120x120 size. Lets focus on me though.

$40 a year to get a book and nagged by someone. Exceptional value!

Go here link to your giant avatar and see how damn big your avatar is. It's 600 x 600 and scaled to 120 x120 by the software. Don't be giving Tanya a bunch of crap when she's right and you're wrong.

Your 600x600 image was resized to 200x200 but might not appear correctly in all browsers.

A lot of high schools have an intermidiate course you can take at night or week ends to catch up on this Basic internet forum stuff. Check it out.

"Hurr durr" is a dutch battle call. It comes from 'harder' and means 'faster'.

"Hurr durr" is the sound of laughter coming from someone with half a brain. Mostly it is used to point out when someone has made an idiotic claim, though, surprisingly, idiot males will attempt to make thier laugh as deep as possible to make them sound more manly, when all it really does is make them sound like idiots.
