Hurricane Irene

Extensive flooding in New Jersey and northern suburbs. By me, there are several flooded towns that never flood. My wife's school is flooded and may not open next week.
Conn. and Upstate NY were hit hardest.

We walked to the Ocean at high tide (8:30am Sunday) It was calm like glass or a Lake- which was very odd.. saw downed trees- walked streets calf-deep flooded/ tried to pry leaves from drains- water was running to hard and fast-- but it passed.
Power still out in Long Island
Roman did open and I was one of 3 getting the hair done (Blonde streaks, cut and blow)
No doubt Brooklyn dodged a bullet- could have been much worst.
- for the most part, NYers did what they were told.
Subways opened at 6am Monday- slow, local but got to work.

Bloomberg made up for the Blizzard this winter in my mind. (where he dropped the ball something awful)

I'm off work today. Princeton got hit hard with flooding and power outages.

My subway went local...oh the horror

This is the most important part here. I always nail it.
