Hypothetical gambling question

Bard, yes the upper hand (2 cards) has to be lesser than the lower (5 card ) hand. And one could be the house in PGP if there are no other players.

Thay have not lerned how to use there spell chekker.

Lose gets two o to even things out when too only gets one o. The universe has to stay in balance.

Single zero roulette -- I would place $2,000 bets on 5 six-number bets, leaving 0, 1, 2, 3, 34, 35, and 36 uncovered.

81.1% chance I leave with $12,000; 18.9% chance I lose it all.

There is one other game and angle to consider.

Blackjack with "favorable" rules". IF a game were to offer the "surrender" option, than a person who just wanted to shoot the angle, make the one bet, and walk with some money could play one hand at Blackjack.

IF dealt a natural (about once every 22 times) they would collect $15,000.

All other hands (The Angle) "could" be surrendered and the player would walk with $5,000. This option would amount to a "risk free" gamble, as the player would walk with $5,000 most of the time, and occasionally would win $15,000 if dealt a natural. On the rate occasion where the player and dealer both received naturals, the hand would be a push.

Guaranteed to have $5,000 after the one bet. But a very expensive way to do it.

That's outside the parameters of the question, which specifies "one bet". Otherwise I would just put $5K on Banker and $5k on Player and be guaranteed a win of at least $4750.

Most responses here are misinterpreting the riddle. If you hit a natural, you'd collect $25,000, the $15K win and the $10K stake. The riddle states that you can't keep the stake, you MUST bet it, or lose it (or loose it, depending on how many beers you've had).
One hand of blackjack, for sure.
blackjack without the ability to split and especially double, is not as good a bet as baccarat.
As for the blackjack bet .......

If I understand the question, it is only one bet, right ???

So, my dumb luck would have a scenario where I'm lookin at 11 against the dealer's 6.
I gotta double.
Where do I get the other $10K ???
