A I

Stephen Hawking today warned that computers will overtake humans in terms of intelligence at some point within the next century.

Speaking at the Zeitgeist 2015 conference in London, the internationally renowned cosmologist and Cambridge University professor, said: “Computers will overtake humans with AI [Artificial Intelligence] at some within the next 100 years. When that happens, we need to make sure the computers have goals aligned with ours.”

Hawking, who signed an open letter alongside Elon Musk earlier this year warning AI development should not go on uncontrolled, added: “Our future is a race between the growing power of technology and the wisdom with which we use it.”

DonDiego, for one, welcomes the arrival of our superior Mechanical Masters.

"Danger Will Robinson!!" or should I say "Danger Yuki Sato!"
If you haven't already, go see "Ex Machina" in the theaters. I haven't been that enraptured at a movie in forever. Could easily be the best, most fascinating sci-fi I've seen.

And it's all about AI so there you go

Considering the pathetic nationwide school educational systems in place presently, I doubt it will take 100 years. Just another byproduct of years of liberal Democratic rule - with no end in sight. Hillary anyone, with the lying adulterer Bill at her side?

This one seems friendly, . . . perhaps, too friendly:

This one appears as though she could be quite friendly, but poor old DonDiego will allow someone else to approach her first:

This one looks awfully angry, . . . but apparently it can be controlled by Bela Lugosi's new Apple-Watch:
Within 100 years?? Balderdash. Strange fantasy-believing digitally-based anthropoids that think they’re smarter than humans already exist:

and

"Take me to your leader."
While PJ and Boiler don't often agree, we do in this case.
