Lighten up Francis.

Get well malibber.
Hey thanks again everyone for the words of encouragement, and stories of your experience with the same ailment. I had meant to check in earlier, but time got away from me. I am feeling better, and I am starting to work myself back into my normal routine now. I still can’t seem to eat any spicy food which was a normal part of my diet, but that is ok.

In a way this has been a real blessing in disguise as I have three wonderful daughters that I got to spend a lot of extra time with. The oldest two 22 and 23 are out of the house, and on their own. When I got out of the hospital both of them were waiting at home for me. My oldest spent the first two days waiting on me and making sure I had everything I needed. The 22 year old spent two days doing the same. The thing is nobody asked them to do this they just did it. My 5 year old wouldn’t let go of my hand in the hospital when she came to visit. When I came home she told me she was afraid daddy would never come home, and that she was sad while I was gone.
That unconditional love the little ones have, is the thing I admire about children. Makes me wish sometimes I had some.

Your kids really are the best part of life. I highly recommend you have one or two.
