Slightly off topic, but does anyone know who made these um, er, interesting allegations?

It wasn't me and if you have a book about gambling I'd like to interview you too.

I think it was Singer that made the accusation. But, to Singer's defense, and Singer is one very defensive person, I wouldn't want Frank to write a book about me. Since the Singer System is too complex to comprehend or alternatively, any deviation from perfect plan is therefore worse than perfect play, what else is there to discuss expect psychology, Frank's favorite subject.

Frank is a non-confrontational guy it seems and it doesn't take a genius to see that a book written about Singer that does not paint Singer in as favorable a light as Singer feels he's deserved is sure to lead to angry words.

Maybe Frank lacks the journalistic backbone to publish the truth no matter who it hurts. There are worse traits.

Who cares. You don't have the knowledge to ask any pertinent questions ... as you've proven time and again.

In a way you are correct: I don't know and so I ask. You on the other hand know everything. Wow you are a lucky man.

By the way Arc why did you criticize Melbedewey for his video production skills? Do you watch Melbedewey's videos often?

It must be a wonderful thing knowing as much as you do without any need for seeking more information.

You really are the world's greatest authority.

Arc: you think you know soooo much about Singer so answer this question. If you get the answer correct I will tell you. Get it wrong and I will give you the correct answer. Here's the question:

You are dealt a flush with four to the royal on 7/5 Bonus poker. How do you play the hand? Answer it according to how Singer would play it.

Show your knowledge Arc.
Let me see if my math is correct: 7 x 5 = 35, so I'm betting 35 to win 4000 with 1/47 odds.

35 x 47 = 1645 therefore the math says it's a very good play to go for the royal.

What does Singer say?

Oh sheesh......

Money.... you are asking a "trick" question, or showing ignorance. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, because there is no clear and consistent answer to your question.

The AP's, or math guys are going for the RF. As Snidely pointed out, it's a mathmatically profitable play to try for the RF.

RS, AND the SPS will sometimes go for the RF, and sometimes take the flush.

The "SPS" for this particular scenario you created does not include ALL the neccesary information to "know" how RS would "play" the hand. So you can not possibly answer.

It depends on other factors... Specifically:

How close, or far from his win goal he happens to be at that moment.
Perhaps how close, or far, from his soft profit (that +40 credits plus buy in) thing of his.
What denomination he is playing.
AND other factors that no one, including RS, can state specifically, because his SPS is constantly changing according to the current circumstances/ conditions, and can not be defined into a system with specific rules for every possible scenario.

So telling Arci that you will give him the correct answer if he is incorrect is, well, I think it's ludicrous.

Roadtrip: exactly right. So many variables. So many conditions. How can anyone say they know how Singer plays?

Oh except for Arc of course.

Money....

How can a trained journalist, TV reporter and newscaster, who has "interviewed 4 presidents", ask many of the questions you've historically asked during this thread, and many others?

I've found many of your messages to be degrading toward other users, as if, well, as if you're becoming a mini RS.

You are a trained professional. You should not demean yourself saying some of the things you say. As a "public figure", "celebrity", and reporter, you should hold yourself to a higher standard than you've been displaying.

There are many who "understand" the SPS as well as you think you do. And more who understand gambling and odds much better than you could ever pretend.

So, why try? Stick with what you think you do best, and do it in a professional manner.

Wouldnt surprise me either that Singer may have threatened to sue to block the publication of that book.

Got to be some reason why he pulled out suddenly.
