I have a Facebook question

I am a bit of a latecomer to using face book. Had built up a medium sized group of friends and generally post animal and cute items on my timeline.....on a daily basis I was getting likes by a number of people I have know for years. In addition I had rekindled some friendships from long ago......for the past 2 months or so I have gotten zero acknowledgment for any of my timeline postings( not a one) from people in my circle and former circle of friends that I know would like what I have posted on my Timeline.........does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?? i don't have a clue. Any ideas would be helpful. I checked under my settings and nothing stood out . I have played it very square on Facebook and would like to regain my contacts....

Attempt to post something on your timeline. There is an icon to the left of your "post" button that should tell you who will be seeing your posts. It might be set to global, friends, or some other customization. That could be your problem.

I took a look at my setting on timeline and it was on only me>>I shifted to friends and just made a post.....This seems like it might be the remedy.

I did the same thing one time.
