I had a very nice day and weekend

There were no serious injuries, hurt feelings, or incidents of alcohol poisoning at the annual gathering of the stroh-man clan. That by itself was a rare blessing.

Then I managed to win $300 at the Indiana Grand Casino ... and then spent it on a new soundbar for my TV.

At least your winnings went to a good cause

Our family gatherings are, unfortunately, an alcohol free zone...nobody drinks!

I could hardly wait to get home to a nice icy gin and tonic.

But there was a lot of yummy food.

it was nice with my 92 yo mom.
