Just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you. I finished in 13th place (and I'm not superstitious, so actually think that's a good place to be!). Now it's in the hands of the judges. They'll choose 50 from the top 100 to be semi-finalists, and that group will be narrowed to 5, then to the final 3. You've done all you can, and I really appreciate your time and efforts. k

Just dropping by to let you know I made the first cut and am in the top 50. The top 5 will be announced the 12th of Sept. Then the winners will be announced on the 25 or 26th of Sept. Thanks again for all your help getting me into the top 100. k

Update: Thought I'd let all of you know that my story made it to the top 5. I got a letter in the mail on Friday congratulating me...along with a $100 AMX gift card. The official announcement is tomorrow, and the final 3 will be announced on the 26th. Thanks again for all your help and support. k
