I see the Republican Party establishment is taking down Trump.

Kind of like what's going to happen with Bernie, eh?
What is "going to happen" to Bernie? Meaning at the moment you got nothing, right?

What is going to happen...
So at the moment you got nothing. That's what I thought.

At the moment I have a substantial amount of money I'd be willing to wager that Bernie Sanders will not be nominated as the Democrat candidate for President of the United States. At least that's something.

If he is not a member of the Democratic Party how he run for their nomination?

Me too!

But on that other thing, you got nothing, right?

The difference is of course none of the Democratic leadership is out to get Bernie. They aren't leaking old sealed depositions like team red. In the end it will turn out the same as the last several Presidential elections. The Republican rank and file will like a candidate not approved by the party elites and the party elites will smear said candidate. They will rinse and repeat until all that is left in the Republican field is the latest version of Bush, Mitt and McCain.

And the people proclaiming the death of the Republican Party, said the same thing in 2013.

They are dead as far as Federal Elections go. That is why they have to cheat with gerrymandering and taking people's right to vote away. Barring a bizarre turn of events the Democratic nominee will win the next presidential election. You can bank on that. 16 Republicans are battling for who gets to be the next looser.

Whoa there Mr. Kettle!! You are accusing the GOP of gerrymandering?? Now everything else you say is moot because of that one statement.

The gerrymandering of today is different than it was in the past because of rapid advances in modern computing and demographical statistics.

Consider this Democrats could win the popular vote in House by 10% and upon hearing that most people would think that was a big victory, but in reality because of modern gerrymandering it would result in the House being controlled by the Republicans.

This is also why when you have the Senate and House controlled by the Republicans it is dysfunctional. The House members are elected by a subset of the extreme fringe right wing voters while the Senators still have to appeal the population of an entire state. It is almost like there are two distinct parties within today’s Republican Party.

Right. The Democrat elite would never do something unsavory like that to one of their candidates.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/feb/25/barackobama.hillaryclinton

"Obama's campaign manager, David Plouffe, described it as "the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we've seen from either party in this election". Obama has had to spend much of the campaign stressing he is a Christian not a Muslim and did not study at a madrassa."

Rest assured if Bernie starts challenging Hillary in the polls, it will get just as nasty as the Republicans.

Stop running away from what you wrote. Like a coward.

Obviously, Republican leadership is trying to take down Trump while Democratic leadership is doing nothing of the sort regarding Sanders. Maybe they will in the future, but as of right now, you've got nothing. Can't you just admit it?
