I respectfully disagree. The pendulum in the US swings back and forth from the left to the right. This election was the Republicans to lose against an unpopular candidate from the left after eight years of the Democrats controlling the White House. Pretty much anyone except Trump would be in the driver's seat with a comfortable lead. But here we are with Trump. Maybe you're right, Trump wins. But I don't think he is electable. I've felt that way since he threw his hat in the ring.

You misunderstood me. I don't think Trump is any where near to being elected. I think he is going to embarrass Hillary many times over before this is over. I don't mean embarrass her by being superior in debates, I mean embarrass Hillary by the existing scandals going out there and the sure to be extra scandals that will surface before election day. Right now I don't think I can vote for Trump either. The question is if I don't, do I vote for Hillary or do I not vote.
If she gets in, I hope she is damaged goods and has no political honeymoon or coattails that other elected presidents have had. I also hope she is only a four year president. She stinks to high heaven and is very corrupt.
If she wins by 10 to 15 points, it hard to see her not having a mandate. The problem the Republicans have going forward is that Trump has shown a sure fire way to win the Republican nomination. It is foolish to think someone won't try the same formula in four years.
